ABOUT BONNIEJEAN KURLE

With over twenty years of college-level teaching experience, including tutoring, lecturing, course prep and assessment, BJ has been consistently highly recommended by students and supervisors alike. She has been noted for innovation as well as exemplary interaction with students and consistent effort towards encouraging student success in the classroom and beyond.

Her current work focuses on applied social epistemology, including deception and meaning manipulation, analyzing social and individual belief formation and their impact on ethics and politics. Relevant papers include discussions on moral psychology and its role in political debates over human rights.

Recent work is focused primarily on the need for and character of intellectual honesty in public, private, and academic discourse.
